We are now looking for a full-time contract role as a Sales Administration Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team in Salisbury South.

You will serve as a point of contact for customers with queries about account queries, and orders and provide support for marketing representatives.

Your next opportunity

Some of the responsibilities associated with this role are:

  • Accurately complete and check data accuracy in wool purchases, create invoices for grower clients
  • Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer queries
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records
  • Develop weekly/monthly sales reports
  • Communicate important feedback from customers internally
  • Proactively working with the Michell Direct team on a partnership basis in driving the business forward through the development, implementation and monitoring of key metrics/KPI’s
  • Providing management information and analysis, based on a sound understanding of all areas of the Michell Direct business to enable the business managers to have the right information, both historic and forward-looking to support effective business decision-making
  • Maintain a weekly cash balance reconciliation in accordance with business guidelines
  • Manage all operational aspects of auction wool including catalogues, typing, appraisals and auctioneer liaison

What you will bring to the team

To succeed in this role you will bring the following skills and experience:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales administrator or Sales support agent
  • Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • A team player with high level of dedication
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
